Marc McAllister: The debate on whether or not to extend the toll road is heated on both sides. As a LIFETIME resident of south county (both at the beach and inland) it disappoints me to hear anyone say "go back where you came from." You give all people from SoCal a bad rep with that kind of talk. Opinions are welcome here...but rudeness is not.

people, i lived in san clemente since 1980 than moved to RSM, you don't need a toll road to get to san clemente, thats dumb, further more, stop the city from allowing new development and the traffic sitch will fix itself, not saying that it is good, no traffic is good. Who is charge of allowing all these homes to be built when infact pico offramp can't even hol the magnitude of people getting off work..it's stupid. We all know it's about $$$. Trestles was ruined along time ago by the exploiting of the surf break from surfer mag and contest, but thats besides the point. trestles has a living river with deer, mountain lions, steel head trout, swans etc... so the toll road people want to bull doze all of that away and if givin the opportunity it will without a dought happen. Take your stupid toll road and go through pendleton or just don't build one at all and stop allowing development in the sticks of san clemente for housing, too much is too much, thats why i moved from san clemente, too many people, when i moved there the population was 28,000, wanna know what it is now ? somewhere in the 70,000 range. It is a small quaint beach city that now takes you 40 minutes or better to get through downtown to the other side of town, it use to take 5 minutes before talega was built, and for you talega residents, san "O" is not yours ! you people drive in there like you own the place in youre new range rovers, you try to take over fire pits, try to reserve parking with your gear. And you hall ass on the dirt road, talega ruined trestles and san o...GO back where you came from pleeeease.....HEAVY

Where is the consideration for an easterly route from Hiway SR74 to Hiway I-15 at Temecula.
This is a realistic proposal to reduce traffic on I-5 AND open up the routes to the East. This has not been discussed publicly and should be addressed.
