The Las Rosas neighborhood, built by K. Hovnanian in the early 2000’s, is located in Rancho Santa Margarita’s Golf Course Area. This 113 unit development is comprised of 3 to 7 bedroom homes with 2 1/2 to 5 bathrooms. Builder K. Hovnanian offered four basic floor plans, each with options for additional bedrooms and/or bathrooms. The homes range in size from 2916 to 3642 square feet.

There are several things I like about this neighborhood:
- It is adjacent to the Arroyo and walking trail
- It is close to Arroyo Vista Park & Community Pool as well as Tijeras Creek Golf Course
- It has low association dues ($46)
- The overall neighborhood appearance is nice, clean and well maintained
- Comparatively a lot of square footage for the price
And a few things that are a little iffy:
- Lot sizes are a little on the small side
- Some homes on the east side of the community may hear some minimal noise from the 241 Toll Road from time to time
- Limited number of 3 car garage homes due to builder options.
