Close out the summer and get ready for the new school year by participating in Rancho Santa Margarita’s 3rd Annual Healthy Community Expo & 5K Run/Walk. Join others in your community and who knows? Maybe you’ll even take home an award. Rancho Santa Margarita is a very active community and this event usually has a great turn-out. Join us this year on Labor Day and find out why.

The Healthy Community Expo is a no-cost event sponsored by local fitness and health exhibitors with a focus on community health. The event will take place at the Civic Center between 7:00 am and 11:00 am on Monday, September 3rd. ProSport Physical Therapy is co-sponsoring the event with the City of Rancho Santa Margarita.

The 5K Fun Run/Walk begins at 7:30 am. Participants can pre-register online at the City’s website for $15.00 before August 31st. If you miss the deadline for online registration, you can register in person at the City Hall parking lot on Sunday, September 2nd between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm. You may also register the day of the event for $25.00, but registration is limited to 1500 participants.

Children five and older are encouraged to participate in the Healthy Kids Fun Run sponsored by SAMLARC. Registration is $10.00 per child (pre-registration) or $20.00 the day of the event. All participants receive a t-shirt and an award. Space is limited to the first 300 participants. The Central Park course is approximately 1/2 mile. All entrance forms must be signed by a parent or guardian.

Join The Bell Tower Foundation between 7:00 am - 10:00 am for a Pancake Breakfast. Kids ticket: $3.00 Adult ticket: $5.00.
